Because I miss these girls.

Junior year might have brought me stress, but these people were there to relieve some of it. I’m lucky to have TCJ, making my 3rd year life somehow a good one!

“I told you, I wish it would all just slow down … to a stop.”
I watched High School Musical 3 this afternoon and the movie finally fitted my situation. The movie literally made me feel the whole ‘senior’ vibes already. It definitely made me realize how hard it is to let go of your friends and your life as a high school student. How you wish everything would just stop and stay as it is. I can say that Gabriella represents what I am right now. Someone who’s having a hard time to move on, to make the right decision for herself and to learn that nothing is permanent.
But here goes Mr. Troy Bolton slapping me in the face with the reality I have to face. “We’re going to graduate. That’s going to happen. Nothing is going to slow down.” All I can do right now is breathe, let out a sigh and just think that I should enjoy my senior year with my best friends and batchmates.
Good luck to us, Seniors 2012-2013.

My last journal in Chemistry

It seems like it was just yesterday when I was so afraid to be Junior. One of the main reasons is that I’m frightened to face Geometry and most of all, Chemistry. For the past years, I’ve been hearing that Chemistry is really a hard subject. I, myself, thought that it was indeed hard back when I was still in my freshman year during our introduction to Chemistry. When my Junior year officially began, I told myself I’ll do my best to pass Chemistry and do not make it a reason for me to be out of the honor list.

During our first meeting with Ms. Hirang, I really thought that she was the type of teacher who’s strict and is very serious. From what I have heard from my ates in the higher batches, she’s a teacher who really has a high standard. But through the months we’ve been together, I learned that she’s a teacher who is filled with charm. A very considerate teacher who thinks about her students well. I was so pleased that she’s the type of teacher who really looks at the effort of the student and not just the quizzes, exams and etc. I think that there’s nothing to like with Ms. Hirang. Yes, her exams might be tricky but her personality as a teacher overpowers all of those. Just by simply making us laugh or smile when the lesson is so tiring and stressful, alleviate our very tired spirits. Hehe.

I definitely learned numerous things from Ms. Hirang. I realized that in everything we do, we must give our best and lots effort. We should always aim for the best. I learned that diligence is so important when it comes to studying and doing projects. Ms. Hirang taught me so many things aside from school related points. She taught me so well the value of education. I know that I’m a diligent and responsible student but she educated me that it is not enough to be able to reach my dreams. Devotion, perseverance and patience are important too.

Chemistry. Wow. Where do I even start? It’s such a memorable subject for every third year student. It’s the only subject that would cause us to panic and make us go frantic especially when we do not get the topic.  It may have given me a hard time (and is probably one of the highlights of my Junior year. Lol.)  but it taught me so much about patience. There were so many points where I want to give up and just throw my book because of so much stress, yet I always remember what Ms. Hirang said that we should always be industrious enough to study because in the end, the fruit of all our hardwork would be so sweet.

Being her student was such a great experience. She definitely added some spice in my third year as a high school student. She’s definitely a teacher to remember. I will miss her hard quizzes, her charming smile and laugh, the red lipstick, and never-ending laboratory activities she gives us.

I LOVE YOU MS. HIRANG! Thank you for making Chemistry a memorable subject for me and my batchmates. Saranghae! <3
