Yesterday was such a memorable day. I practically woke up early because I needed to pass our project in CLE. I went to school at around ten in the morning. Then there starts my boredom and endless waiting with Therese. Haha. We waited for two to three hours for our friends to arrive. We pretty much did everything we can in school. From bugging the teachers in the faculty room to staying in Ms. Rui’s office. We even read one whole yearbook. We decided to stay in gate one where pretty much all of the boys from the different dance troupes enters. Around quarter to one in the afternoon, Kim and Dennice arrived. We went back to the faculty to make bug the teachers again. Haha. We just love doing that. Then since we were hungry we decided to go to Powerplant to eat lunch. We strolled around the mall too. I finally got to meet my best friend’s other best friend (Eeeeep). We made our cravings satisfied by eating at Crepes ‘n Creme! After that, we planned to leave already and go back to school. While going down the escalator, I was wondering the thought why I always didn’t get to catch Camille Co in the Rockwell area, when I’m always there since it’s near my school. Much to my surprise, when we were about to exit, Camille entered! We really shifted to her direction and followed her. She was walking so fast that we were gasping for air when we reached Dorothy Perkins, wherein she entered. We waited for a minute or so then Dennice approached her and asked to have a photo with her. Waaah! Major kilig moment right there. She’s so pretty and tall!

When we got back to school, the performers for the concert where all over the place. We just stayed in Ms. Rui’s office and went around the school. Dennice unexpectedly became the stage manager of the concert so she had to go. Aww. Since Therese, Gail, Peaches and I were hungry (again) we went back to Powerplant and ate dinner. I so love our talk there. We just shared our parents’ stories, told each other how much we suck when it comes to boys, senior year and more. We went back to school at around six thirty.

The show started at eight already but it was definitely worth it. Different groups performed. DBTC’s Fusion Force, DBTI’s DBX, MC’s C*CATT, San Beda’s Redz in Beats, La Salle’s Cadence and LSM’s Ground Zero. Of course, our very own Phat Gurlz Crew and Mapua’s DanceCom topped off the list! 

After the concert, I stayed with Dennice until 11. So many things happened to the point I don’t know where to start. I’ll just sum it up in one word. KILIG.

A night filled with glamour. My first JS Prom was definitely unforgettable. I am so grateful for everything especially my batch’s good friendship with the Seniors. I think that’s the key to success of a prom. To have a good camaraderie between the two batches.

I started prepping up at around 12PM. I got my nails done at Let’s Face It Salon in Greenbelt 1 as well as my hair and make-up in Piandre. I was done by 3:30 so I went home to change. I finished my short letters for my friends in the Seniors. I left the house at around five thirty and arrived at Dusit at around 6PM. I was so excited when I saw Gail and Therese walking towards me and I literally ran to them. Haha. We registered first and voted for our Ms. Congeniality. As usual, our parents won’t stop taking photos of us. Haha. We entered the venue and got interviewed. Awkward moment right there with Peaches. We chilled for a while in Therese’s table and went out again to welcome our other friends. The program started at around 7PM. The Juniors and Seniors were introduced one by one. After that, I danced in the cotillion. I just tried to look happy so that they won’t notice my dance moves. Nyahaha. After that the much awaited dinner began. My tablemates and I were in PG mode because we were seriously hungry. Among them all, I love the pork steak and mashed potato. 

The passing of rituals between the two batches began after dinner. When I got back from the bathroom, the video LA and I made started playing. I was excited to see the Seniors’ reaction to it. I was glad when I heard them say “aww” because that’s what I really want to hear from them. For me, it means we were able to touch their hearts. Their video tribute to us was so hilarious to the nth level. Sir Fauvel’s segment was the best! We all had a good laugh watching it. The passing of key within the current SC President, Ate Hannah and incoming President, Therese, followed the video tributes.

The Hall of Famers were announced after. I was shocked that I was included since I wasn’t really expecting. Haha. Our very own Phat Gurlz Crew danced to Beyonce’s “Love On Top” and they were amazing. The “party party” mode started and my friends and I were just sitting, watching people dance like crazy. Haha. I took photos of my friends on the dancefloor too. They cut the party first to give way to the awarding of the winners. Kirsten & Ate Justine won Ms. Congeniality. Jom & Meg won Star of the Night, Jill won Prom Princess and Ate Alec won Prom Queen. The party started again but now, slow dance mode. Naks. And I was with my friends again, staring at couples, gushing about our crushes present, watching … My friends and I suck when it comes to these things. Hehe.

Our prom ended at around 12AM and seriously, it was so bitin. But I had tons of fun with my friends, batchmates and Seniors too. It was definitely a night to remember.

Last week was a really busy week for me because it was the campaign period for the student council elections. Everyday, I had to bring my camera with me and take videos of my friends for their video. Of course, the quizzes, homeworks and projects was still there so double the stress and pressure. I was excused for 2 days and so I have to catch up with my schoolworks. But on the brighter side, I had lots of fun doing this. Even though I was so stressed about editing photos, updating and fixing the video, I still feel glad and grateful because I’m doing something that I really love.

The quizzes and other schoolworks makes me so frantic all the time. There was this test in AP that I barely studied and I only studied it on the day of the exams yet I still got a perfect score. Awwyeaah. Haha. Juggling personal projects and school is really hard but I know the fruit is always sweet.

It’s been a crazy week and this coming Saturday, it’s our JS Prom! I’m so stoked about seeing my batchmates prepped up for it. That will probably be my next entry here, so watch out for it!
