We will wait for you, Kim Heechul.

Heechul saying his short, simple yet meaningful speech in the end of Inkigayo.
LT: Thank you to Heechul for becoming one of the members of Super Junior, I love you.
Heechul: The people I want to thank most is our members. All the dongsaengs listen to what your hyungs say. And my friend Jungsoo.. Teukie is really very tired, thank you very very much. Lastly, I want to thank our fans, ELF. I will come back safely.
Today is a very emotional day for us, ELFs. It’s our dear Heechul’s last performance before enlisting to the army. To those of you who don’t know, enlisting to the army is mandatory for all men in Korea. So even idol stars enlists to the army for 2 years.
When this news was officially announced last week, I wasn’t that affected. I continued watching their performances in Mnet, Music Bank, Music Core and Inkigayo. But then today, I felt it. I felt the intense pain and sadness that a fan could feel. It feels worse than getting a failed score on a test.
I’ll definitely miss Heechul. He’s like one of the most unique member of the group. When you watch them perform, he’ll always be doing something on his own like, not dancing or making those poker faces when he’s singing.
Seeing Leeteuk (their leader) cry is the worst thing an ELF can see. You can see how tired and emotional he was. Heechul was his partner in leading the group since they were born in the same year. All of the other members considers the two of them as their hyungs (which means older brother). I can really see the true meaning of brotherhood between them.
Funny as it may seem to some of you but it’s what I feel. Like I’ve said before, being a fan of a Korean boyband is tough. Fans from all over the world are united. You can say I have a high pride, but I think ELFs are the strongest and the most united fans ever. You see, every year a member will enter the army. So yes, it will take 8 years before our much-awaited reunion of Super Junior will happen.
I will wait. 2 years will be fast. I know it will be.
Please don’t judge me for being fan of Super Junior. Being a fan of this awesome boyband is like being a fan of your favorite band too.
